Parotid region







































Innervation of parotid gland and related structures :
the auriculotemporal nerve ,
great auricular nerve C2 and C3

stylomandibular ligament. It separates the parotid gland from the submandibular gland.

Arterial supply : external carotid artery & its terminal branches
Venous drainage : into the retro-mandibular vein .
Lymph drainage: into the parotid & then into the deep cervical lymph nodes .
