Recurrent Hernia =Hernia that recur after hernia operation (repair)
Post.op. morbidity:
A-The imp. Cause of death post.operatively is hypoxia D/t
1-antidot is not enough 2-secretion inside lung
How to Know the hypoxia =1-tachypnea. 2-cynosis 3-oxymeter 4-irritable
B-Hemodynamic status
1-overhydration(death d/t pulmonary oedma)
2-hypovolemic shock &cardiogenic shock
Retention of urine post.op.
-bz of pain which will cause spasm of inner sphincter muscle
-Rx –pain killer if not pass urine -----catheterization
.anuria post
operatively due to
ligation of both
ureters
pain in recurrent hernia usually there is incomplete adhesion with other tissue and it may
cause pain
.diarrhea with obstructed hernia is due to the chemical material of ischemia
( impacted feces accumulate in the rectum it will cause irritation of the rectum and cause
severe diarrhea
